Handmade Card for Him...

Every year in our Anniversary, I just usually made a anniversary card for him. I think the handmade one is better than the one you buy at the store. I also made an envelope along with it. Last year my husband bought me a Victoria Secret lingeries and bathrobe (that was nice and sweet of him) and I bought him a customized cellphone cover with our family photos in it together with a customized pen with our photo together. Last 2 years ago in our Anniversary we decided to buy an ATV as a gift for both of us together. This year, I bought us a couple shirts and I got chocolates from him too :-) We will spend more time this month for our Anniversary, have dinner together and do something as a couple. So thankful and lucky to have such a wonderful man to spend my life with. Happy Anniversary Bebeeh!

Anniversary Gift for him!

I been searching an Anniversary Gifts for him online and its way too much selection, its hard to decide but I made up my mind and buy this couple shirt at for our 9th year anniversary gift for my husband and for me as well. I don't have that much money to spend because I don't have a job, I am a stay at home mom but I also make an extra money by doing surveys, my swagbucks, inboxdollars, dollarsurveys and so I get a chance to buy him a gift! Not that much but being able to remember our anniversary really that counts and being to each other and remember the time when we first got married is really important. We really treasure that moment and wish to have more years to come! Still waiting for our package, it will come late but its okay :-) Can't wait to wear it together and take a picture of us together wearing this couple shirt. That will be soooooo sweeeeeeeet!

Happy 9th Year Anniversary!

I still remember the first time I met my husband and the time when I say "I DO" in our wedding on December 19, 2005. I can't believe we're already in our 9 years! Days went by so fast as well as our kids grown so fast. I really had a good relationship with my husband. We try to keep up to each other, even though sometimes communication is the problem and it sometimes cause of an arguments but we try our best to get along well and try to understand each other. A lot of patience, love and understanding is the key of a long lasting relationship. Also put God in the middle of our relationship helps a lot. We show to our kids how important spiritual is in the relationship of the family. He take the lead and I really respect him on that matter. We always spend time as a family, eat together at dinner time and try to give our time and attention to our two beautiful kids. I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful family, beautiful kids and a responsible husband that I can proud of. Many more years to come and Happy 9th Year Anniversary to my one and only loving husband! Love You Bunch!

Breakfast at Waterfront Insular Hotel

Last September when we visit my family in the Philippines, we got a chance to eat breakfast at one of my favorite hotel in Davao, the Waterfront Insular Hotel. My husband said, its not the same breakfast menu that he can remember 7 years ago. Well, maybe they change their Chef and also the menu, but I never find something wrong with the food. I like it and I really enjoy my breakfast and the kids love it too. After breakfast we got a chance to explore the area, went to the beach and play with the crabs and hermet crabs. We also took some photos, buy souvenirs at that tribal store close to the pool. It was fun and hopefully next time when we get a chance to visit Davao Philippines again, we might end up staying at this hotel that way in the morning or after breakfast, the kids can play around the beach area and we can enjoy the view of Samal Island from there. Here some of the photos:

Camella Northpoint Clubhouse, Davao Philippines

We stayed at Camella Northpoint when we visit Davao Philippines for our vacation to visit my family. They have really nice clubhouse and pool. The room is just right. They have nice furniture, the bed is comfortable and its a walking distance to my mom's house. You can easily get taxi or ride a jeepney if you want to go to the Mall, Park or to explore the City. The humidity is high so expect to sweat in there. We had great time swimming at the pool with my brother and nieces at this photo. It was nice. The thing my husband and I doesn't like is the noise outside where they are building a new condominium in front of the place where we staying. The rest of it was fine. So I am looking forward to visit again my family in the Philippines couple years from now. Will see...

Exploring time at Bonanza

Bonanza is just a cute little town. It was a pretty drive though. We got a chance to explore the town, the cemetery and look at their houses for sale up there. We took some photos in that old ghost town I forgot the name. We took drive all the way to the top and go back then we see this old mine, I guess. They seems blow it up and leave it there so my husband and brother in law along with my two kids went all the way on top to explore it. There's no trespassing sign so I guess were okay. They just want to see what's up there. Me and my mother in law stay in the car and wait for them. It takes few minutes before they get down and back to the car then we headed to Salida for lunch. It was a nice trip. It's my first time to go there and it's not bad at all. We love to explore ghost town and mining and just enjoy the ride. It's nice to do this kind of stuff with your family, it makes us getting closer together and we appreciate all God's creation and that makes our day last Monday.

Mom and Brother in law visit

We are very happy and thankful that my mother in law and my brother in law come visit with us here in the Valley. They are from Michigan and its a long drive to come here. We went to Michigan 2012 and it was a nice visit, we stay about 2 weeks I guess. This time, they only stay for a week. It was nice though. We take them for a road trip, we went to the mountain, see the mine but we end up didn't go further because of the weather. It snowed a lot on the mountain so we just decided to go to Rock Creek and see some nice rock formation out there. We also eat breakfast at Organic Feddler at Del Norte, it was nice. I had a special omelet and all their food are all organic and gluten free I guess. We also went to Pueblo for a ride, go to La Veta Pass and see some ghost town. This week we went to Bonanza to see the ghost town too and it was a nice drive. Seeing the mountain is really nice and pretty. It was very breathtaking view. They like it and I hope they enjoy their visit here with us. Hope they stay for another week but they already made up their mind to stay a week. Maybe next year they will come back and I am sure we will do a lot of road trips in the mountains and to see the canyons. So will see :-)

At Calvillo's Mexican Restaurant...

Almost every Sunday we go to Calvillo's Mexican Restaurant at Del Norte for dinner. They have pretty good food there. One of our favorite restaurant here in town. Yesterday, it was Saturday we end up eating there again of course with our loving friends Lila and Mary. It was such a nice visit yesterday, they seems like they are doing a renovation, they put the buffet menu in the middle and it looks pretty nice now. My kids says "they are doing upgrade!". So far their menu was taste great, they always have my favorite dish, the enchilada, chicharones, the chili is pretty good too, my kids like the taquitos, rice and meat, the fajitas and their chili rellenos is the best! We will absolutely come back for more! maybe next Sunday? or maybe every next weekend, it depends if we have budget for the family (laughs...)

Kids with Grandma

It was an exciting moment for the kids to met their Grandma! It's my mom first time to met my little girl Dana, she met my eldest son last 2007 when he is 19months old. Now, he is a grown up boy, he is 8years old. Its been 7 years before our last visit in my hometown Philippines. I feel really overwhelmed seeing my whole family and friends. Two and a half weeks seems not enough, days went by so fast. But I'm glad everyone is happy and that we enjoy visiting my family. Not sure when we are going to get back but hopefully not for long.

Craving Tostada

I was craving tostada this past couple days and now, mary and I went to the bakery here at downtown and have tostada! Yum! I got two of them actually and Mary order a mini pepperoni pizza. I am not crazy of tostada before, but one time when we had break time from service, we stop by at the local bakery shop in the valley and I order and try their tostada and I was pretty amazed, they had really good tostada here. So I will give thumbs up to Don Thomas Bakery here in San Luis Valley for their good food and service. Thanks!

Huge Zucchini...

This is the biggest zucchini we ever had! This zucchini is not came from our garden! it came from somebody else garden. Anyhow, a friend of ours give me this huge zucchini and it was heavy! I thought it was a watermelon or some kind of a squash but she told me, one of her friend also give her tons of big huge zucchini from their garden and she dont know what to do with it, so she give me one too because she know I like to make zucchini bread and cookies for the kids. Well, I already cook half of it and give her some zucchini bread and cookies for her kids too. That was nice of her for thinking about me. So I am still thinking to make some more zucchini bread and cookies this week, need to use it before it gets bad, we dont want to waste it. I'll post some photos on my next post. Enjoy!

Fun Pics at Crocodile Park

These are all our family fun pics when we visited Crocodile Park first week of September, 2014. It was a nice visit and I'm glad to be back in my hometown after 7 years! That was a long time and being there again makes me happy. It's a good experience for the kids to see some other places in Davao and to experience to ride the public transportation in Davao like Jeepney, Tricycle and Taxi :-)

Talking Mynah Bird at the Crocodile Park, Davao Philippines

This Mynah Bird really give us a surprise when we visit Crocodile Park, Davao Philippines first week of September. He keep saying "Pangit" (means Ugly). So my daughter and son was laughing when they heard it. It was so cute! When we got back, we hear him saying "hello" to us. That was incredible! :-)

Crocodiles at Crocodile Park Davao Philippines

Here are some of the photos we took at the Crocodile Park, we didn't see the biggest crocodile but we saw couples of them. The yearling stage crocodile, the grown up and some big ones too. It was nice, it looks nice than I can remember a long time ago when I visited crocodile park. They also added some other animals like birds, orangutan, pheasants, ostrich, philippine dear and more. We had lunch too at one of their finest restaurant in the area. It was nice :-) We really enjoy our visit at the Crocodile Park, Davao Philippines.

My kids holding the eagle and a parrot at Crocodile Park Davao, Philippines

This photo was taken when we went to Crocodile Park, Davao Philippines in our two in a half weeks vacation in the Philippines. We visit my family and see some nice places in Davao and one of it is the Crocodile Park. We didn't see the biggest crocodile that time. We saw a lot of crocodiles though, different birds and animals. I can tell that the Crocodile Park is really a nice place to visit. It not as big as a zoo but it worth to visit with the family and we really had fun!

Conquer my fear...

I admit that I have a fear of snake because of the experience I have when I was young. It was so sudden on that moment that I almost past out. But here I am now, willing to conquer my fear. I am really scared to touch or hold a snake but when the moment come when we went to Crocodile Park, Philippines on our vacation last couple weeks ago. I really wanted to try it even just once and see if I can do it. Seems like the snake is very harmless and the lady said, the snake is used to be holding by people so I give it a try and here I am! It takes only couple minutes to hold the snake and I feel nervous and I feel like I'm shaking but I didn't whine or cry :-). Anyway this is the photo of me holding the yellow python at the Crocodile Park, Davao Philippines. I made it! You can't hardly see my fear at this photo, I am still smiling but shaking inside hehe :-)

double rainbow

What a beautiful creation of our Almight God! We saw a double rainbow when we headed back to Southfork. The rainbow was beautiful. We see the end of the rainbow very clearly! But the more we get closer to it, it gets further and further. Anyhow, that was an amazing sight! It was totally awesome that we see it closely, just infront of us while were driving. We went to Creede to have dinner at Freemons General Store that time because my husband and I love their hamburger and chili fritos and especially their ice cream!

First day of school!

Yesterday is my son's first day of school. He is in 3rd grade now. He is very excited and of course he is looking forward for the things he will learn this year. Hopefully this year will  be an awesome year for him, just like last year. He has a very awesome teacher and he already meet all  his classmates. I went to see him on lunch time together with his little sister and he was very happy and tomorrow, my little girl will be in school too. Wednesday will be her first day on Kindergarten. Our Family Foot

Our family travel foot! :-) we're watching the movie "NOAH". It's nice to sit down and watch movie as a family. We didn't have popcorn to eat but we really enjoy to spend time together. It was a nice movie actually, my favorite part is when all the animals came and went inside the ark, it was spectacular!

Golden Trout for dinner!

Isn't that looks yummy? We bought this golden trout at Safeway today and it was looking good! I like it fried because its crispy and juicy inside. The taste is very mild and I only put salt, pepper, lemon and soy sauce and it turns out really good. I really miss my hometown Philippines, there I can eat a lot of sea food especially grilled fish! :-)

at big meadows lake

This is our second time we went at Big meadows lake. Last year we went there for a hike and not for fishing but this time we go for fishing right after we went to the hunters lake. It was around 3:00pm in the afternoon, its not as crowded in the morning, we got a good shady spot to go fishing and it was really nice. We only caught 2 fish and we stay there until almost 6 o'clock. Well, better than nothing and the important is, we all had fun spending time together as a family and that all that matters :-) We got home and cook the fish and had it for dinner! It was yummy!!!

hiking at hunters lake

It was about 1 mile hike to hunters lake. We didn't bring our fishing stuff, it was such a nice day, very quiet and peaceful. We all like the hike but the trail is seems muddy and wet but it went okay. We made it to the lake and just look around and took some photos. Here are some of the photos we took from the trail :)

fishing at shaw lake

This is our first fishing this year on summer. Actually we wanted to go fishing at Big Meadows but that time it was packed and crowded. It was a free fishing weekend and they have something going on out there, I guess a fishing competition, so instead of being in that crowded place, we decided to drive more up to the mountain, my husband said there's another lake up there couple miles from big meadows so we ended up fishing at Shaw Lake. It was nice, only few people was there but we are not lucky to catch fish. We stay there about 2-3 hours I guess and since we didn't catch any, we decided to go for another drive all the way to the top of the mountain another 8 miles then we found a hiking trail at Hunters Lake. It was a nice road trip for our family!

accounting firms in charlotte nc

Me and a friend of mine from NC was talking about how much tax return we got for this year and if we did it by ourselves or just let the tax service do it for us? Well, I really didn’t give her so much information about it because we don’t want to spread the world how much money we got for our tax return for this year. Its not that much but its enough for us to pay off some of our bills. Last year we let the tax service do it but this year, we did our own. For me, its kind a confusing at first so I just let my husband do it. She told me that they hire a tax service to their taxes, so I ask her if they use these accounting firms in charlotte nc and she said no, but they wanted to try their services too for next year. So hopefully it went good for them this year, hope we can go visit them in NC and see some other places up there!

Its a bug!

The one you see here is not a real bug. Its just a toy bug. My kids got this at the Moonlight Pizza Restaurant, Salida. They found it at the toy box and they are having fun playing with it while were waiting for our pizza. Its so funny to see my little girl making a funny expression whenever she put the bug on her head and shoulder. So cute!

Not feeling well...

It was very surprising because my 8 year old son was pretty sick last night. We saw him playing and giggling with his friends and suddenly after dinner, he said his tummy is hurt and he started to throw up in the bathroom. He was pretty healthy all day that time. I give him a bath in the morning, they have good breakfast and lunch, he play outside with friends at the sprinkler, I give him second bath and we went to visit a friend to bring food. They are playing at the front yard while me and my husband are having conversation with a sister who visited that is ill, when we head back home, he was fine but after dinner, he started to get sick. So hopefully he will feel better, he didn't go to school today because his tummy still hurt but so glad to see that he started to recover now.

horse free ride!

We went to Big R last couple weeks ago and we see 3 horses outside the store. The kids was so happy to see it up close and guess what? they got a chance to ride the horse for free! Look how happy they are! We give donation to them when we left and hopefully to see them again sometime next year.

It was nice spending time with my kiddos. Shocking truth about vaccine...

Me and my husband are totally shocked when we find out about the ingredients they put on the vaccine. We search online about vaccine and what they put in it, you can't believe how terrible it was. I can't believe that they are putting it into infants and kids, well even to the adults. Ever since I dont really agree about vaccine, I hate needles and I feel bad watching my baby cry and get sick after. When we saw this video on youtube about Vaccine damaged babies: How the system poisoning us, Dangers of Flu Vaccine, Dangers of Vaccine, etc. You'll probably will get the same reaction as we do.

Here are the Toxic Vaccine ingredients and their adverse effects:

Bovine cow serum: Extracted from cow skin. When injected causes connective tissue disorders, arthritis and lupus; also shortness of breath, low blood pressure, chest pain and skin reactions.

Sorbitol: Synthetic sweetener which metabolizes very slowly and aggravates IBS and gastrointestinal issues.

Gelatin: Derived from the collagen inside animals' skin and bones. Injecting gelatin poses the risk of infection from synthetic growth hormones and BSE infectivity (mad cow disease).

Sodium chloride: Raises blood pressure and inhibits muscle contraction and growth.

Egg protein: Vaccines are prepared in eggs (certainly not organic). May contain growth hormones, antibiotics, and salmonella bacteria.

Thimerosal: A neurotoxic mercury which causes autism: There are 25 mcg in one average flu vaccine, and the EPA safety limit is 5 micrograms, so children who are vaccinated simultaneously with multiple* vaccines receive over 10 times the safety limit of mercury in one day.

Human albumin: The protein portion of blood from pooled human venous plasma; when injected causes fever, chills, hives, rash, headache, nausea, breathing difficulty, and rapid heart rate. Injecting "pooled blood" can result in a loss of body cell mass and cause immunodeficiency virus infection, or contain SV40, AIDS, cancer or Hepatitis B from drug addicts.

Formaldehyde: Highly carcinogenic fluid used to embalm corpses. Ranked one of the most hazardous compounds to human health; can cause liver damage, gastrointestinal issues, reproductive deformation, respiratory distress and cancer. Plus, formaldehyde has been known to fail to deactivate the virus the vaccine is intended to cure, thus enabling a live virus to enter your blood and infect your system.

Phenoxyethanol: A glycol ether/chemical; highly toxic to the nervous system, kidneys, and liver. The FDA warns "can cause shut down of the central nervous system (CNS), vomiting and contact dermatitis" in cosmetics; imagine when injected into your blood.

Aluminum phosphate: Greatly increases toxicity of mercury, so caution about minimum mercury tolerance is therefore severely underestimated. CDC scientists and all doctors are well aware of this.

MSG (monosodium glutamate): When injected becomes a neurotoxin, causing CNS disorders and brain damage in children.

You dont want to put this in you and your baby's body dont you? before you decide to get vaccination, do your own research and think about it. Its your choice people. For my family, we prefer no vaccine!

An Interesting Experience

Last Saturday we took a drive to Pueblo to pick up my husband's motorcycle. We went to the mall first and had lunch, do a little shopping and went to health food store to buy some organic vegetables before we picked up the motorcycle at the motorcycle shop. Around 3:30 pm, we decided to head back home and we expect to be home around 5:30-6:00pm. About 7 miles outside Pueblo, the tire of our trailer on the left side get flat and we decided to stop. I thought we will get a ticket from the police i never thought we get flat tire that moment. It was an interesting experience though because we almost lose hope that time. We call different tire shop and even called walmart if they have available trailer tire but they don't have one that size. Some of the store that we called said they will be close at 4:00pm so were thinking we wont made it in time. Its almost 4 o'clock and we're still stock in the shoulder of the busy road. The police came and ask what happen and my husband explain everything. We dont want to stay overnight there and not doing anything, so my husband thought about taking the motorcycle and the trailer at the closer substation where he work. He also call his workmate and ask for help if he knows any tire shop that are still open and has the right size for our trailer. So we keep trying and we decided  just to drive back to Pueblo, we drive very slow at the shoulder side and then suddenly we called the Discount Tires and luckily they have the size of a trailer tire that we're looking for and they will be open until 5:00pm and if we couldn't make it on 5:00pm, they will wait for us and help us to get it fix. Wow! what a relief! God hears my prayers and patience helps a lot too. We didn't get frustrated, we keep trying and we got some help! what an interesting experience! we got home safe and were so glad to be home at 8:00pm :-)

Watch football game with friends...

Thanks for Brenda for inviting us to watch football game at their house last night together with some of our fellow brothers and sisters in our congregation. It was fun! eventhough i am not into football game but my husband does. He is not a Bronco Fan, I think he likes Seahawk better than Broncos. But yeah, all the one who came to watch the football game are all Bronco Fan. It was a nice game though but i am sure they are not happy to see that Bronco didn't win the game. Well being there together with our friends is very nice, the association of our brothers and sister and everyone are all happy. Win or Lose it doesn't matter, the important is, we're there watching the game, had great food, great association and that is all that matter.

cleaning services

Would it be nice if you don’t have to worry about cleaning? When you have kids and dogs in the house, its kind a stressful to clean the house everyday because once you clean it up, you’ll see mess again in the afternoon or in the other day. Well, I guess that’s our job as a stay at home mom but once my kids will be in school, I might need to get a job outside and that means I don’t need to clean the house everyday! Well, I knew someone who has a big huge house and she clean her house two or three times a week and sometimes she hires a cleaning service to do the cleaning. I am sure some people do this way especially when they are busy working and don’t have time to clean their house. Its easier to hire cleaning service to get the work done.I might hire cleaning service too one day if I don’t feel like cleaning my own house. Anyhow, if you are from NC, you might like to try the, they are the cleaning services in cary nc. So if your interested, visit their website and find out about their service.

This photo taken last couple weeks when we attend a farewell tea party of one of our friend who are moving and it was really fun! It was my first time to attend this kind of party and it was very interesting. I like all their tea! My favorite one is the Chai Tea Vanilla flavor, it was yummy! my little girl like their hats and their treats! I choose a hat too :-) It was a wonderful party. Too bad one of our sister here in our congregation will move to another place. Will surely miss them!
