There are many reasons why people get easily frustrated, get irritated, depression, easily get mad and many things that make them unhappy. Most of the common reasons are having problem with the family or maybe they are not happy with their selves. I noticed that in some people and it happens for me too sometimes. Missing my family...

There are no days that I don't miss my family in the Philippines. I'm worried about my mom. She is fine though but my sister told me that she's taking medication for high blood. I also worried about my brother because they had an argument with his wife and he wants to leave his wife and the kids. He told me that his wife make a scandal at his work place and he wants to quit his job because he don't have a face to show to his boss. We talked three days ago and tell him not to leave his wife and his kids. He needs to swallow his pride and stay with them. Even how big the problem they have as a family, they still need to work it out for the sake of their children.

My brother is a quiet type of guy. He don't get mad easily. Sometimes it's hard for him to get along with his wife and his wife's family. They argue a lot. Well, I don't want to be involved in their family problems. All I can do is to give him advice and to let him know that leaving his wife and the kids can't solve their problems. Good thing because my sister told me that my brother go back to his family now, I think he already realize that leaving them is not a good idea. Hope they are okay now.

Saturday ramblings...

It's Saturday morning and I felt very tired. Not because of the headache I got last night but also I throw up and my stomach got sick. I am not sure if the pizza makes my tummy upset but I think it is. We had pizza for dinner from Papa Murphy. I never sick before when I eat Pizza and I love Papa Murphy Pizza. I was wondering why, or maybe its not because of the Pizza. Maybe I was not really feeling good that time and eating Pizza is not a good idea. Well, I'm glad I throw it up last night. If not? I am sure I still have headache until now.

I woke up early around 6:00 am because my tummy is rumbling. I am graving for food. So I cooked ramen noodles this morning and rice. I also have a cup of coffee with a lots of milk. Dana woke up early too but she went back to sleep in her swing around 7:00am. I try to go back to bed but my eyes won't go back to sleep. Instead, I watch my favorite Filipino show online PBB: Double Up at You Tube. It helps me relax and I really enjoyed watching the Melason team up. They makes my day complete.

Well, my husband is working today but he will be home around 3:00pm. He works overtime this weekend so that we can catch up our bills. Saturday is a lazy day for me. The weather outside is freezing cold. Don't feel like going out, I just want to stay in the house and relax.

Balance view of work...

I was reading one of our magazines for this month and it was very interesting. It talks about working. Well, we know everyone is working hard to provide their needs for their self and family. Sinus Rinse Recipe

I was running out of sinus rinse preservatives and we lost the copy of the sinus rinse recipe that the allergy specialist assistant gave to us. My Chocolate Cake

I supposed to wake up early because we need to attend meeting. But I woke up late and I don’t feel like getting up. We are running out of time because I woke up at 9:00 am and the meeting will start at 10:00. Mike doesn’t want to rush, so we decided not to go in the meeting, instead he will just finish putting the insulation in our patio. While waiting for him to get done, I made a chocolate cake for desert. This is my first time to bake chocolate cake. My first attempt turns out really good. I’m so happy with it and its very delicious.

Angel Lush with Pineapple

Last time, I try the Angel Lush with Pineapple with strawberry on top. This time I made it without strawberry but same recipe. I like this easy spongy cake and luxurious, creamy filling. It's easy to prepare and it works for a dinner party, coffee get-together and weeknight dinner. I love the flavor, the pineapple with whip cream is just great combination. Maybe you will love to try it at home too and I am sure you will enjoy it! Here is the recipe:

1 pkg Jell-O vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling

1 can Dole crushed pineapple in juice, undrained

1 cup thawed cool whip whipped topping

1 prepared round angel food cake

fresh strawberries

Direction:

1. Mix dry pudding mix and pineapple in medium bowl.

2. Gently stir in whipped topping

3. Cut cake horizontally into 3 layers.

4. Place bottom cake layer on serving plate; top with one third of pudding mixture

5. Repeat layers 2 times

6. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Top with strawberries just before serving.

Bored...

I’m kind a bored today, Mike is playing his online games and I am sitting here in front of my laptop, waiting for my sister to come online but I think she won’t be online today. Maybe she’s busy, taking care with the kids, or maybe she went to school to pick up the kids. I’m not sure, but hopefully tomorrow morning, she will be online. That way I’ll know what’s going on to them. It’s been 40 days since my youngest sister past away and it’s kind a sad. I can’t believe how fast the day went by. I’m always thinking about my family in the Philippines. I missed them so much, can’t wait to go back in the Philippines and spend time with them.

Snowy time!

Yay! The snow outside is about 5 to 6 inches now. It’s thick and powdery. It’s Tuesday and I supposed to take the garbage out. I am not sure if I could open the back gate, I bet it is frozen right now. Weather today was really bad, I don’t know if we can get out tonight for the meeting. I don’t want to drive in the snow. Too cold for me! I hate cold; it makes me lazy to go out. I just want to stay in our warm house and stay in the bed. Here are the pictures, this picture taken outside in our patio. Without him...

Without Mike at night is kind a lonely. He’s not staying with us tonight because of his on going class in Denver. He will stay in Denver for 2 nights and will be home Wednesday night. So I’m kind a lonely here, im just glad because the kids are with me, they makes me happy and the dogs keeps me busy to as well We talked on the phone every 2-3 hours, just checking each other, making sure if everyone’s okay, checking if we already had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Isn’t that sweet? That’s what I love the most with myhubby. He is such a caring, lovable, sweet person. I am so lucky to have him!

My new Laptop

This morning when we went to BestBuy, my husband bought me a laptop! I thought he will only buy video card for his online game EVE. I was kind a surprised and happy of course. I been longing to own a laptop and having a laptop is a big advantage to me especially that Mike used the other computer for his game at night and I can’t able to talk with my family. I was so happy for my new laptop. Actually I am using it right now and I like it! The keyboard has a soft key that I can barely touch my finger. It also has built in camera and microphone. It's color black, ASUS notebook type. It’s very interesting, but to bad I can’t make a layout at this computer because it doesn’t have the Microsoft picture it premium 10 or Photoshop that I can use to create layout.

A new sketch of me and my husband mike. It’s been a long time that I didn’t touch my sketch book but since our anniversary is coming, I was thinking to make a sketch of us together and include it in the handmade anniversary card that I made, just to surprise him. Hopefully he will like it. This sketch is not perfect; I still need a lot of practice. That’s what happens when you are not practicing and not doing it all the time.

Weird feeling...

I been sick this couple of days. I have a weird feeling every morning when I woke up. I’m kind a dizzy and at night I have a bad headache. My period is done already and I was wondering, why I don’t feel good this past couple days. Do I have a cold or flu? But I don’t have any fever or any symptoms of flu. Maybe I have some kind a virus or something. We missed two meetings last week and this week and I don’t want to miss the meeting this Sunday. It is really hard in my part to not feel good or getting sick because I have two kids to taking care of and I don’t have any relatives or closed family here in Colorado. I only rely my husband and some of our closest friends or sisters in the congregation to help me out a bit. Hopefully I will get better this weekend, that way we can attend Sunday meeting and we can also go out in service.

Best weight loss pills

I mentioned earlier that I feel like I am gaining weight this month. No wonder my sister from the Philippines says that I am gaining weight because she can see in the webcam that my face is getting round. I think she’s right!
