playbook on sale

I really like the playbook that my friend son using for his online school. It's pretty nice and interesting. You can bring it anywhere and use it anytime you want. You can download any games and videos you like. The kids will absolutely learn so fast with this kind of technology. We really want to buy playbook but then we decided just to get a new iphones. Well maybe next time if we find a playbook on sale or if we have enough budget that way my son can use the playbook for his online school and games.

Eye Allergy

Just got this eye allergy 2 days ago and until now, it still bothering me a lot. My left eye get so sensitive in the light and I felt like there is a dirt inside of it. My husband said it was an allergy, so I use the eye drop that he has and it helps a little bit. Last night we went to the meeting but then my eye started to get iritated because of the light. I end up staying at the bathroom for couple minutes. When I get back to my sit, I told my husband that I will wait them in the car but they decided to go home with me instead and not wait until the meeting's done. Anyhow, it was terrible. I got home very tired and wanted to go to sleep after we change. I really wanted to close my eyes and stay in the dark. Hope I will feel better soon, need more drops in my eye and maybe I need to take medication for this allergy. If  it getting worse this couple days, I might need to go to the eye doctor to get a check up, to make sure my eye is okay.

Moving in a small town

Moving in a small town is kind a interesting. I grow up in a City so I used to live where there a lot of people and big shopping area. But when we moved here in San Luis Valley, I didn’t imagine what our life would be in this area. We found a nice house to live, actually there are only few houses that is for sale at this area. Some of it have a bigger lot but the house is old and needs a lot of work. This house we got is the first house we looked. When I enter the house, the first thing that caught my attention is their kitchen cabinets design. They look like the one we have in Silverthorne. They have a lot of space and more storages in the backroom. The kitchen is pretty big and it was nice. That’s why we decided to buy the house and start a new life here in the Valley. I found a lot of friends in the congregation, they are all nice, friendly and lovable. We are also close to grocery store and I think that is all matters to me and guess what? We are all happy and my husband got a good job and sometimes on weekend we try to go in the mountains and do hiking and will probably go fishing this coming weekend.

 Yay, whos this spiderwoman in this picture? hehe, Dustin took this photo while I'm trying to show him how to climb. So I just sit down and say cheeeeezz! Pretty cool huh? This photo taken last 2 weeks ago when we went for a 10 days vacation in Michigan. This is the pretty park of the Stony Creek Metropark. After playing at the park, we went on swimming at their Lake Beach! It was fun!

This is what the Titanic Grand Hallway look like, pretty amazing!

Titanic is one of my favorite movie for all time, played with Leonardo de Caprio and Kate Winslet. Seeing those artifacts, remind me of the movie Titanic. It's nice to be in that Exhibit, I feel like I am in a real ship. It was very interesting exhibit that you can only find at the Henry Ford Museum, Michigan.

Trip to Michigan

Last two weeks ago July 30^th, we went to Michigan for a 10 days vacation to visit my mother in law. We made a 3 days trip, we stay 2 nights at the Hotel. First we stayed at Cameron Kansas, we drive about 10hrs then in the second day, we stay at Terra Haute Indiana, we drive about 9hrs and the 3^rd day, we drive about 7hrs. It was a long way drive but its worth it though. The kids are great, they are just watching their favorite movies while were driving, we stop every 2-3 hours to use the bathroom. We really enjoy swimming at the pool in Holiday Inn, Indiana. It was a great trip and we’re so glad because we made it at Michigan safe. It’s nice to be in Michigan again after our last visit last 2006.

Fun at the mall

We went to the Mall of Partridge Creek two days ago and it was really nice. It was kind a hot but we’re walking in the shade so it helps a lot. We do a lot of shopping, we bought some swimsuit for me and for my husband since the kids already have one. I also bought a red dress at forever21, I like that store! They have my size! We also bought the kids their favorite toy at the toy shop and of course since it was so hot that time so we decided to sit down where their outdoor fountains are, we saw some kids playing and my kids really love it. Today were planning to go to the zoo and the kids are so excited about it!

Last week, June 15-17, 2012 is our JW Convention title "Safeguard Your Heart". They give a very inspiring drama about True Love and an inspiring talk with the brothers. We learned a lot and we will surely apply those bible principles in our family life. Thanks for all the blessings Jehovah!

Pueblo Zoo trip

Pueblo Zoo was really nice, it's not a big zoo as the denver zoo but they have enough animals that my kids love to see. It was nice because we went to the zoo together with our friends, the Miera's Family. My 3 year old daughter was so happy to see the monkey's, lions, birds and her favorite is the ducks. She loves to feed the ducks in the duck pond. Dustin like the otters, peacock, zebra's and other big animals. Well, they don't have elephants, geraffe, polar bear but to see the smile in their face make us happy. It's just a happy moments to them. They really enjoy it and that 3rd photo of me, the penguin seems like me! He keeps swimming up and down, seems like he wants to get out on that cage.

Eating dinner at the patio

Last night, I was cooking pork chop in the grill, I grill 2 jalapenos for my tomato salsa, I have some mushroom sauce left over for the pork chop and a tons of rice and I also grill some asparagus from our garden. Mike was writing a letter for his brother and friend in Michigan and since he was sitting outside, I ask him if it's okay if we could have dinner here outside. It was a nice warm day and its a perfect day to eat outside, it was so nice and the kids love it. They got so excited when I told them that we will have dinner at the patio.

After we do our ministry in the morning, my friend Mary and I decided to stop by for a little while at the Home Lake here in the Valley. It was such a nice day and the view at the lake was very nice.

cohiba

I missed my grandpa a lot. He passed away more than 5 years ago. He is the one that really love to watch boxing and he smoke tobaco a lot. He is such a funny guy and we love him a lot. I am sure he would love to try the cohiba cigars. This is one of his favorite. I am not sure if they have Cohiba cigars available in the Philippines but I guess its only available here in the US. This morning...

What happen this morning is, we had breakfast in one of the new opened restaurant here in the Valley, I won't mention the name. But the first experience I have is not that good. Why? Because at first their service is very slow. There's not so much people out there but I guess we waited about 30-40 minutes before we got our order and the customer seated next to us, I guess they waited about 45mins to an hour because their food arrive when we left and they just came after us. The food is good though, but they have some few mistakes to it. The hash brown is cold, my blueberry pancake is not totally cooked because I can still taste the flour to it. The eggs and hash browns are not salted. The service is good though, the waiter is very nice and I am not sure if we can still go back to that restaurant but hopefully they will fix it so that they won't have bad impressions to their customers.

We still need some furniture in our extra room which is, we made it as a kids playroom. We put the small tv up there for the kids so that they can play their wii games. We have one book case, small aquarium and a kiddy chair as well. The bean bag doesn’t look good at all, I guess we need to get rid of it and buy a new c convertible sofa. Actually we have one in my son’s room, since he doesn’t sleep in his bedroom, we might take that out and put it in the play room and buy him a new queen size bed. My little girl need a toddler bed too. We have a lot of plan, we just need to save more money. My barbecue chicken

Our dinner tonight! Barbecue chicken with rice and for my husband, I also grill his favorite jalapeño. This is very easy since I only put salt and pepper for the chicken leg and I brush it with olive oil and when its finally cooked, I also brushed it with my favorite honey barbecue sauce. Easy dinner and the kids love it!

My little bundle of Joy!

As a parent, we always proud to our children. I love my kids and they are such a bundle of joy to us. They make our life happier and we always thanks God for all the blessings we have.

Raining for two days

It was rainy day for two days and I'm glad that it was sunny out side. It was a little foggy and I am sure tomorrow will be a great day about 70 degrees tomorrow I guess. So either I'll go out on service with the kids or if not, will do it this Wednesday. Our grass in the backyard was really green and they grow so fast. My husband just mow the lawn last Sunday and now we need to mow the lawn again. I guess we need to mow the lawn every week. I like rain but as long it won't rain that much for the whole week because here in the Valley, the temperature always drops to 30s to 40s, so it's little bit chilly outside when it rains.
