Bunk Bed, Twin Over Twin Mission Style

This is the new bunk bed we got for the kids. We ordered it online at amazon and it supposed to come this afternoon or maybe tonight. We are excited to put it all together that way the kids can start sleeping in their bedroom. We sell their old ones because they never used it and they are scared to sleep on it because its a little bit higher but it was a nice bed though with a slide on it and a hideout under the bed. They been sleeping in our bedroom for couple of days now and sometimes we put them to the other bedroom where they can sleep together in a queen size bed. That is supposed to be our guest room. But yes, hope they will like this bed. If they doesn't like  the bunk bed style, we can pull it down and make it a twin bed. We got a good deal at Amazon and this one looks very sturdy. We got it for $320.20 and its free shipping! So will see how it will look in the kids bedroom :-)

Crepes for breakfast this morning...

I am not crazy on crepes but this past couple days I been making crepes for the kids breakfast and now I wanted some too! I guess the kids prefer crepes better than pancakes. I found a very easy crepes recipe online and all you need to do is mix all the ingredients:

1 cup of flour (we use einkorn flour)
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk (we use organic milk)
1/2 cup of water
pinch of salt
2 tbs of butter.

That's it! then heat a lightly oiled cast iron pan or any frying pan or griddle over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter using the 1/4 measuring cup for each crepe then tilt the pan in a circular motion to make it even. Turn it after 2 mins or until the bottom is light brown then serve it warm with honey or strawberry jelly or any fruits you like. You can also sprinkle it with powdered sugar and woolah! You have a yummy breakfast! Enjoy!

Start selling stuff at yardsale online...

I was cleaning up kids closets and drawers and I found tons of clothes and dresses that its way too small for them and some clothes that they never wear. No wonder, their dresser are over loaded. Now, their dresser have more space. Instead of keeping it or give it away, I decided to sell some of them at yard sale online here in the Valley and maybe I can start saving up money for our Disneyland trip for this year before next winter. Kids are so excited and of course we are trying to tell them to save their money instead of buying toys. They got tons of toys already and they don't need more. Maybe will get them toys when we get to Disneyland in Florida. So far, I sold most of them, people come and picking them up and they pay me cash. That's the way I can make money before winter. I still have couple of paintings and art stuff that I need to sell and of course tons of kids old shoes and couple of my sandals too that I need to get rid of. So hope I can sell those that way I can put the money away for our trip. So will see...

Lobster and smoked salmon for dinner!

Dinner tonight sounds yummy! We don't get lobster that much because its expensive but tonight we are going to have a treat! That was really nice. We usually eat at Red Lobster once a year or whenever we get a chance to go to a big city. It's about more than 2 hours before we get to the City. But we found a good sale to their lobster tail at City Market today so we decided to get couple of it and have it for tonight. What a wonderful night to spend dinner with the family. Happy me, happy tummy!

Anal Gland Problem with one of our English Mastiff

We just found out that one of our English Mastiff got an anal gland problem. His anal is very swolen and its bleeding. He is having hard time moving around. I bet he is in a lot of pain. My husband was very worried so we took him to the Vet couple days before he got it. He thought it was a cancer so he is kind a upset about it. We got so emotional too because we might put him down if he has a cancer. Good thing he just had an anal gland infection. The vet gave him antibiotic and he is good to go home and last Friday, we took him to the vet for his last check up and he looks a lot better! Right now, he is back to his health. The antibiotic helps a lot and I'm glad he recover fast on that bleeding and infection. Poor Thunder he is such a good dog :-)
