Painted Ladies and the Pyramid Tower, San Francisco

Well, our tour almost end but our son got car sick so we end up just taking a quick photo of the painted ladies with the kids and also we just drive by at the Pyramid Tower before we head back to our hotel. It starting to get dark too so what a day we had at San Francisco! Nice to see all those tourist spots that most people love to see when they go visit San Francisco. We drove by at the Lombard Street to see the Crookedest Street too, so it was really nice. It was such a pleasant tour with "Andre" from the Silver Lion Private Tours

Kids playing at the Ocean Beach, San Francisco

It's nice to see the ocean beach! Soft sand and nice temperature. We saw couple people surfing! It looks fun but the water is kind a cold :-) We only stayed for a while since Dana keep begging to go see the beach. Before our tour ends, our last stop would be the Painted Ladies and Pyramid Tower! :-)

The house on the Cliff, San Francisco

November, 2017 photos

1890's photos

Our daughter love to see the beach, so "Andre" our tour guide took us here at the Ocean Beach, San Francisco. He tell us about the history of "The House on the Cliff"from long time ago. It has a very interesting history. The first photo was taken on the year 1890 and the second is the latest photo we took. You can see the rocks on the  background. It said, the cliff house was burn in the year 1907. To  know more about the history of  the cliff house, click this link

Muir Woods at San Francisco

November 21, 2017 --- At last! We got a chance to see the Muir Woods of San Francisco! Muir Woods is one of the places I really want to see the most when we go San Francisco. Last 2011, we didn't get a chance to see it but this time, this year 2017 will be able to see it! It was really nice! Love to see those big huge redwoods trees and the beautiful hiking trails. I love the smell of the fresh air. Temperature is great too!

Lunch at China Town, San Francisco

Well after I finish renewing my Philippine Passport at the Philippine Embassy, we decided to go to China Town to get lunch! We went to this local restaurant name "The Boiling Shrimp". It was pretty good! My favorite is the wanton soup and the garlic sea food bowl. It's nice to see local Chinese people coming here at this restaurant. It has a nice ambiance, great place to eat as a family!

Shopping at Union Square, San Francisco

Union Square is the biggest shopping area in San Francisco, it was surrounded by numerous upscale boutiques, restaurants, nightspots and galleries. We take a walk and do a little bit of shopping there. It was not too crowded that time when we visit. But it was very nice and clean. Nice to see all my kababayan there from Philippines.

Cable Car Ride, San Francisco

We need to wait in line to ride the Cable Car.

We're getting close! Dustin so excited to ride the Cable Car!

Our Dana Pie, this was taken at the Union Square, its the last stop of the Cable Car rides.

Riding the Cable Car is one of the kids favorite! All tourist like to ride Cable Car, its one of the best, memorable iconic rides in San Francisco that you don't want to miss! I  like it when we go up and down to those Steep Hills! I really enjoy our visit in San Francisco!

Pier39, San Francisco

11.19.2017 --- I would say, Pier39 is one of my favorite tourist spot in San Francisco. I love to watch those sea lions playing around each other. The weather is nice, the view is nice and the sounds of those sea lions are wonderful. They are kind a noisy but you know, seeing a sea lion upclose is really fun, kids really love it. We stayed a little bit longer this time and have some hotdogs and popcorn then have a nice ice cream after. I'm sure a lot of people enjoy the sea lions at Pier39. Don't forget to get your clam chowder bowl at Fisherman's Warf! They are so yummy!!!...

Hyde St. Pier Historic Ships, San Francisco

Hyde St. Pier Historic Ships is one of the attraction you don't want to miss in San Francisco. It's located at the Fisherman's Warf neighborhood. This is our second time around in San Francisco. that means, this is our second time visiting the Hyde St. Pier. Kids was little when we come here but now they are big enough to learn about the history of all this big ship. It was really nice to see what's inside on those ship. I like the Ferry where you see old cars and the second deck, you see the passenger seats, they are still in good shape! My son got so interested on the ship engine :-)

Here's were you can  see the Alcatras Island. Dustin is taking a picture on it. :-)

Breakfast at Pat's Cafe, San Francisco...

Whenever we go to San Francisco, Pat's Cafe is our favorite breakfast place. It's a walking distance from our hotel. It has a nice ambiance in there. Its a nice local restaurant. Kids are not crazy about it but my husband and I like it. It was a very busy morning when we went there. We waited about 30 minutes before we got our table. Its worth the wait though. So if you are visiting San Francisco, don't forget to stop by at Pat's Cafe, they serve awesome healthy, hearty, home-style American Food for breakfast and lunch.

California Sunset...

Here's the beautiful Sunset of California. We have about couple minutes before we arrive to Needles, California. At first, I saw a heart shape on the sky while its starting to change the color. Then you see it starting to form like a face with two eyes. Don't you think? Beautiful right?

Traffic in San Francisco...

Nov. 18 ---- We arrive in San Francisco but we got stuck on traffic before we cross the San Francisco Bay Bridge. I think we stayed on traffic for about 45-50 minutes. Then the car behind us got into an accident so it makes the traffic worst. But I'm glad we got out on traffic, it was a big relief to see our car moving. We need to pay to pass the bridge, that's why too much traffic here. We didn't use this road 5 years ago. I remember we pass the Golden Gate Bridge before.

Anyhow, the Bay Bridge at night time was pretty amazing! If you look closely, the lights on the bridge are going up and down.

2 days drive to San Francisco

Nov. 17 -- We make sure all the kids school are done for the week and in the morning, we are packing our luggage in the car and ready to go. Our house/pet sitting came in the morning around 6:30am to make sure the dogs are well aware that we are leaving.

So here we go! San Francisco here we come! First day, we drove about 8 and a half hours drive, stay at Needles, California for the night and at the second day, we drove a long way about 10 and a half hours. It was a long drive but it was really nice.  We stop to eat and for potty break of course and we sometimes just take a walk and stretch our back. Kids just sleep and play with their tablets. We stopped to get coffee to keep my husband awake for the ride. Listening music and talking while driving helps a lot too. We saw nice views and scenery on the way. Nice rock formation and beautiful sunset too!

Can you see the heart? This is the sunset of California. I called this love sunset. I have a video where the sky turns really orange. That was an amazing sunset.

I'm glad we arrive safe on 18th around almost 8 o'clock. We had late dinner at Applebees, Fisherman's Warf, San Francisco. That was really nice, we had great time.

Excited on our trip to San Francisco!

One week before our trip, I am busy planning what to pack, what to bring, what to do before we go. I usually make a list on what to do on that week and of course I love to leave my house clean before we go on vacation. I able to finish the cleaning for a week, I am supposed to hire someone to come over and clean my house but I did it anyway because the woman I hired didn't come and called me. I did the full house cleaning within a week that was a quiet job there. I also finish the packing and make sure I didn't forget anything. Kids are very anxious to go. Well, the reason were going to San Francisco is that I need to renew my Philippine Passport. I have to renew it every 5 years. So yes, we went 5 years ago in San Francisco and this will be our second trip. This going to be fun!
