This Friday is Mike’s pay day. Since this is the 3rd time he will receive his salary this month, I am sure he will get a big pay check this week. It’s enough to save money so that we can pay our bills, go shopping and buy new electronics. We need to replace our old TV in our bedroom. I’m worried about my friend from Oklahoma, we just talked online and she told me about her problem. It was very complicated so maybe it’s not good for me to mention it here. Right now, they are looking for a lawyer to help them with the case. While I’m talking with her, I make my own research and hoping that I can find a lawyer in their area. Went to Filipino Store...

After our appointment at H&R Block this afternoon, we decided to go to the Filipino Store nearby. I am not sure what time they will be closed, it was 4:30pm that time. I tell Mike if it’s okay to drive by because maybe they are still open. I’m glad they are still open! They have more Filipino customers too and I met the new worker at the store. I am so happy to buy what I want. I never forgot to buy tocino because that’s one of my favorite. I also buy longanisa, sardines, noodles, century tuna, hopia, frozen fish from the Philippines and a lot more. We didn’t spend too much, I only spend $35. Maybe next weekend or next month, I will come back again and buy that Levi’s pants that I like. Will see…

Today is Friday and it supposed to be Mike’s day off. But his working overtime today. He will work 10 hours. Ten hours is a long hours of working. I felt so bad that he needs to work long hours. Wish I could help him out financially. We have more bills to catch up this month and I’m kind a worried. He will be home at 6:00pm and he said I don’t need to cook for dinner tonight because his boss will pay his meal. He ask me what I like to have for tonight either Pizza or something else? Well, I already missed the “Guapo Burrito” of the Aztecas Family Restaurant. I would like to have burrito for dinner tonight. He says no problem so I am looking forward for my Guapo Burrito!

Free of acne!

Having terrible acne is what I am scared of. Even just one pimple in my face, I hate it. I feel shy to look at my face in the mirror. I have this problem when I was in high school and college. Can't sleep

Last night I sleep late and I keep waking up in the middle of the night. I was really tired and very stress. My husband and I have an arguments too last night but it’s not that serious, we’re doing fine now and hopefully it won’t happen again tonight or else maybe I need to take a sleeping pill to help me going to sleep.

Missing my family...

There are no days that I don't miss my family in the Philippines. I'm worried about my mom. She is fine though but my sister told me that she's taking medication for high blood. I also worried about my brother because they had an argument with his wife and he wants to leave his wife and the kids. He told me that his wife make a scandal at his work place and he wants to quit his job because he don't have a face to show to his boss. We talked three days ago and tell him not to leave his wife and his kids. He needs to swallow his pride and stay with them. Even how big the problem they have as a family, they still need to work it out for the sake of their children.

My brother is a quiet type of guy. He don't get mad easily. Sometimes it's hard for him to get along with his wife and his wife's family. They argue a lot. Well, I don't want to be involved in their family problems. All I can do is to give him advice and to let him know that leaving his wife and the kids can't solve their problems. Good thing because my sister told me that my brother go back to his family now, I think he already realize that leaving them is not a good idea. Hope they are okay now.

Saturday ramblings...

It's Saturday morning and I felt very tired. Not because of the headache I got last night but also I throw up and my stomach got sick. I am not sure if the pizza makes my tummy upset but I think it is. We had pizza for dinner from Papa Murphy. I never sick before when I eat Pizza and I love Papa Murphy Pizza. I was wondering why, or maybe its not because of the Pizza. Maybe I was not really feeling good that time and eating Pizza is not a good idea. Well, I'm glad I throw it up last night. If not? I am sure I still have headache until now.

I woke up early around 6:00 am because my tummy is rumbling. I am graving for food. So I cooked ramen noodles this morning and rice. I also have a cup of coffee with a lots of milk. Dana woke up early too but she went back to sleep in her swing around 7:00am. I try to go back to bed but my eyes won't go back to sleep. Instead, I watch my favorite Filipino show online PBB: Double Up at You Tube. It helps me relax and I really enjoyed watching the Melason team up. They makes my day complete.

Well, my husband is working today but he will be home around 3:00pm. He works overtime this weekend so that we can catch up our bills. Saturday is a lazy day for me. The weather outside is freezing cold. Don't feel like going out, I just want to stay in the house and relax.

I was reading one of our magazines for this month and it was very interesting. It talks about working. Well, we know everyone is working hard to provide their needs for their self and family.
